- m. (preced.) cleansing material.Pl. כְּבָסִים. Ylamd. to Num. 28:3 quot. in Ar. s. v. כבשים (ref. to כבשים, ib.) אע״פ שכתוב כבשים אנו קורין כ׳וכ׳ though it is written Kʾbasim (with Sin, sheep), we read Kʾbasim (with Sammekh, for they cleanse Israels sins.
